h2dance: London based h2dance presents the joint choreography of Artistic Directors Hanna Gillgren (Sweden) and Heidi Rustgaard (Norway). Together they have created a body of touring work including “To Die For” (2007), “Silent Movie” (2004) “Faked” (2003),“Butterfly Belly” (2002) and “Ostrich" (2000), and has performed throughout England, Sweden, Norway, as well as in France, Germany and Belgium. The company has undertaken commissions for Värmlandsoperan in Sweden, BIG Dance with performances at Victoria & Albert Museum and Natural History Museum, Guardians of Doubt and The Wapping Project in UK. In 2003, they collaborated with film-maker Rachel Davies on “GOLD”, which won the prestigious IMZ Dance on Screen Award, 2005. In May 2010 they delivered a commission from The Place to mark the 40th anniversary of the building. The company has made work on among others EDGE09, Map Dance, Ludus, Norrdans, London Contemporary Dance School, Laban, Circus Space and London Metropolitan University.
